MONDAY NIGHT MAGIC: CLOSE-UP & IN-PERSON

Mondays at 8PM

Monday Night Magic -- New York City’s longest-running magic show -- is now offering an evening of truly fantastic close-up magic called, Monday Night Magic: Close-Up & In-Person.

At this show you will see mesmerizing and utterly baffling prestidigitation, conjuring, illusions, and miracles "right before your eyes."

In conjunction with Greenwich Village’s popular Italian staple, Monte’s Trattoria, Monday Night Magic is offering a wonderful dinner and entertainment package: a full Italian dinner followed by a fabulous magic show performed by a nationally renowned illusionist -- all for just $95 per person (beverages are not included).

Everyone arrives at 8:00 PM; at 8:15 the close-up magic starts, dinner is at 8:30 PM, and the show begins at approximately 9:15 PM.

To keep the gathering intimate, we’re limiting attendance to no more than 40 guests. It will be a great evening of magic, mentalism, amazing food, and surprises!

Monday Night Magic: Close-Up & In-Person is presented to have world-class magic available for our patrons, on Mondays when our main show is dark.

PLACE: Monte's Trattoria
ADDRESS: 97 MacDougal Street (Betw. Bleecker & West 3rd Streets)
LOCATION: We will be in the private dining room - upstairs
TIMES: Arrive @ 8PM / 8:15 PM - Close-Up Magic Starts / Dinner at 8:30 PM / Show at approximately 9:15 PM
COST: $95.00 per person for the show and dinner (includes tax and gratuity)

Dinner includes: Choice of salad, an entrée, and dessert (beverages are not included; there will be a full cash bar)

Salad choice - Caesar or Tri-Color

Dessert - Cannoli with Strawberries & Whipped Cream

Witness Leon’s original magic creations, award-winning sleight-of-hand and the best jaw-dropping illusions in the world. There's a good chance you've seen him on NBC's America’s Got Talent (he was a finalist), Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (special guest) or the CW’s Penn and Teller: Fool Us!, where he successfully fooled the master magicians! YOU will be next!

John Lenahan went to Britain from his native Philadelphia for a short trip and never quite made it back. 2004 saw him starring in a new primetime BBC1 show, Secrets of Magic. His own BBC2 series, Stuff the White Rabbit, achieved record ratings for the slot. Other TV credits include presenting the travelogue Open Road, playing the voice of the toaster in Red Dwarf, and guest appearances on everything including Paul McCartney’s Christmas Party to the center square on Celebrity Squares. John has performed onstage all over the world, from Beijing to Birmingham and Dubai to Dublin. John's third novel in his very successful Shadowmagic series, The Sons of Macha, is out in March in paperback from Harper Collins.
