We are writing to all of the valued fans of Monday Night Magic and hope this message finds you well.

We wanted to take a moment to address three important matters:

The ongoing tragedy in Los Angeles
Brown Paper Tickets website outage on Friday
Illusionist Leon Etienne’s rare NYC appearance on Jan. 20th

1. OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH LOS ANGELES

Our hearts are heavy with the devastating news from Los Angeles and the surrounding area.

The recent events have left countless individuals and families affected, and our thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to the brave first responders, volunteers, and heroes who are working tirelessly to provide aid and support during this challenging time. Your dedication and selflessness are an inspiration to us all.

If you are able, we encourage you to consider supporting the relief efforts. Donations to reputable charities can provide much-needed assistance to those in need.

While there are many places to give, to help ensure your donations go to the right places, Charity Navigator has compiled a list of highly rated nonprofits currently providing relief in the Pacific Palisades and surrounding areas, including support for first responders.

2. BROWN PAPER TICKETS WEBSITE - FRIDAY OUTAGE

We received many calls and emails on Friday from people trying to purchase tickets to our January 20th show at The Cutting Room.

Unfortunately, Brown Paper Tickets was performing a necessary upgrade for our show, which temporarily took the show off sale. This caused some confusion, with many thinking the show was already sold out.

Good news: we are not sold out yet! However, tickets are selling fast, and the site is now back up and running.

3. ILLUSIONIST LEON ETIENNE – JAN. 20 at The Cutting Room

We have planned another extraordinary evening of magic and fun at The Cutting Room on Monday, January 20th—Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a holiday for most people.

Don’t miss this rare NYC appearance of illusionist Leon Etienne (and all of the other surprises we have planned—see show details below), known for his electrifying magic performances and remarkable illusions.

You may have seen him on America’s Got Talent, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Masters of Illusion, and Penn & Teller: Fool Us! (where he successfully fooled the legendary duo!).

Illusionist Leon Etienne rocks venues worldwide with his critically acclaimed hit show Magic Rocks! We saw him in August at The Paramount, and he was absolutely AMAZING! He’s taking time off his national tour to join us for this very special night—making this a truly rare NYC appearance. Don’t miss it!

2. Most Mondays we are in the private upstairs dining room of Monte's Trattoria, the Greenwich Village staple that has been serving New Yorkers amazing Italian food for over 100 years.

3. On nine (9) special occasions each year, we've added a larger-scale production called, Monday Night Magic ~ The Holiday Series, hosted at the prestigious Cutting Room on East 32nd Street in the chic Murray Hill area of town.

Monday Night Magic -- New York City’s longest-running magic show -- is now offering an evening of truly fantastic close-up magic called, Monday Night Magic: Close-Up & In-Person.

At this show you will see mesmerizing and utterly baffling prestidigitation, conjuring, illusions, and miracles "right before your eyes."

In conjunction with Greenwich Village’s popular Italian staple, Monte’s Trattoria, Monday Night Magic is offering a wonderful dinner and entertainment package: a full Italian dinner followed by a fabulous magic show performed by a nationally renowned illusionist -- all for just $110 per person (beverages are not included).

Everyone arrives at 8:00 PM; at 8:15 PM the close-up magic starts at the tables, dinner is at 8:30 PM, and the formal show begins at approximately 9:15 PM.

To keep the gathering intimate, we’re limiting attendance to no more than 44 guests. It will be a great evening of magic, mentalism, amazing food, and surprises!

Monday Night Magic: Close-Up & In-Person is presented to have world-class magic available for our patrons, on Mondays when our main show is dark.

PLACE: Monte's Trattoria

TIMES:
7:45 PM - Doors open / please arrive by 8:00 PM
8:15 PM - Close-up magic starts

TICKET PRICES:
- Show-Only Ticket: $60 (plus $20 food or beverage minimum per guest)
- Dinner & Show Ticket: $110 per person (price includes tax and gratuity)

Dinner includes: Choice of salad, an entrée, and dessert (beverages are not included; there will be a full cash bar)
