The New Theatrical Magic Show

For the next two weeks at La MaMa E.T.C., Peter Samelson, co-producer of Monday Night Magic, will be performing in the new theatrical work produced in concert with downtown theater company Talking Band at La MaMa E.T.C. (74 E. 4th St., New York, NY)

The show tells the story of The Great Radnevsky (Samelson), an aging magician who is returning to perform in New York City for the first time in three decades. Joining Radnevsky is his protege Harry Telkhines, played by Monday Night Magic regular Dennis Kyriakos. While the performance begins like a magic show, as the evening continues, it becomes clear that all is not what it may seem.
